Energetic Best Challenge: A Spartan Race is the recommended way to complete this requirement. However, it is not the only way. If a Spartan Race is out of scope for you, you are welcome to propose a different challenge. The challenge must:
be a healthy physical challenge: something that causes you to stretch, not snap
involve a community element, such as participating with others, or doing an event for a cause
be completed before you seek certification, or have a fixed date of completion (with verifiable progress toward completion)
All Energetic Best Alternative proposals must be submitted via email to [email protected] for review.
Proof Submission: Keep marking what you have completed on the web or app, and fill out the Session Log template as you begin leading others through the Heroic Performance Coaching sessions. If you are aiming for the Heroic Performance Coach Certification, use this session log. If you are aiming for the Certification and you plan to add the accreditation, use this session log for the CCE instead.
The application is now live. Whenever you are ready, you are welcome to apply for your Certification.

If you want to add the Board Certified Coach credential from the CCE after earning your Heroic Performance Coach Certification, you must meet these requirements.
Eligibility Highlights:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
120+ clock hours of CCE-approved coach training (your Heroic Performance Coach Certification plus the required wisdom in Pillar 1 meets this).
30 hours of direct client coaching experience (covered by your 3 clients across 12 sessions).
Pass the BCC exam and complete their Ethics requirement.
Fees: $279 application review fee and $40 annual maintenance fee.

Important: If you do not hold a bachelor's degree, you can still earn the Heroic Performance Coach Certification, but not the BCC accreditation.

Can I still study the +1s, 101s, and Philosopher's Notes shown in each module? Yes. They are optional for Certification and required for BCC eligibility.
What is the fee for Lifetime Coaches? None for the Heroic Performance Coach Certificate. Only BCC applicants pay the CCE directly.
Are there additional levels of certification I can work toward? The Heroic Performance Coach Certification is the highest and only certification we offer. There is currently one optional accreditation you can add. If you meet the eligibility requirements, you are welcome to pursue it.
What if I started but never finished the old program and am currently inactive? Separate re-engagement offers will be announced soon.
