If you've signed up for Daily +1s, Philosopher's Notes emails, or any other Heroic emails and they're not showing up, here's how to track it down.
The most common reason.
Open your spam or promotions folder and see if they've been landing there. If you find one, move it to your inbox, this tells your email provider to keep delivering them there going forward.
Sometimes a subscription needs a refresh.
If you've checked spam and still don't see anything, your subscription may have lapsed or gotten unsubscribed on our end. You can resubscribe anytime at heroic.us/activate, which gets the emails flowing again.
Fine-tune your preferences anytime.
Open any recent email from Heroic and scroll to the bottom, you'll find an email preferences link there. From that page, you can manage exactly which emails you receive and how often, so everything matches what you're looking for.
Keeps future emails out of spam.
Add the heroic email to your contacts or safe senders list. Most email providers treat emails from saved contacts as trusted, so they’ll land in your inbox instead of getting filtered.
Some companies block outside emails before they ever reach you.
If you signed up with a work address, especially at a bank, hospital, or other organization with strict security, your company’s email system may be catching our emails before they get to your inbox or even your spam folder. Ask your IT team to allowlist the heroic emails and heroic.us.
We'll look into your account directly.
Message us with the email address tied to your account and we'll check what's going on and get it corrected.
