If your reset email never showed up, or the link says it's invalid or expired, this is almost always one of two things: the email landed somewhere you didn't check, or the link expired before you clicked it.
Heroic currently runs a few separate logins, and password resets don't cross over between them. Use "Forgot Password" on the platform your account actually lives on:
Signed up before August 2025: legacy.heroic.us
Philosopher's Notes legacy members: app.philosophersnotes.com/legacy
Philosopher's Notes standard: app.philosophersnotes.com/login
Requesting a reset on the wrong platform will either fail silently or send a link that doesn't match where your account lives, which looks a lot like "no email arrived."
Reset emails sometimes get filtered, especially if it's your first one in a while. Check spam, promotions, and any other filtered folders before assuming it didn't send.
For security, password reset links only stay valid for a short window after they're sent. If some time passed between requesting the link and clicking it, it's expected for the link to say invalid. Request a fresh one right before you plan to use it, rather than saving an old email to use later.
Message us with the email you're using and roughly when you first signed up. We can look into your account directly and get you a working reset link.
